Food, family and friends
Dining with friends and family is a very special part of any gathering. Whether you choose to self-cater or hire a private chef, nothing brings people together like the intimacy of sharing stories and laughter over a meal.
Self catering
Most of our guests enjoy the privacy of cooking for themselves. If you choose to self cater, Holland Peak Ranch promises you will enjoy making memories and great food in our fully equipped gourmet chef kitchen, complete with dual Sub-Zero refrigerators, state-of-the-art double Wolf gas stove and two dishwashers for easy clean-up. Grilling on the gas grill at the Rec Barn is also a favorite way to enjoy the outdoors while sharing meals with family and friends.
Grocery shopping
Chain grocery stores are available in both Missoula and Kalispell, a little over an hour from the ranch, making it easy to purchase groceries on your drive from either airport. There is also a local mercantile market featuring fresh produce, meats and fish, wines and other grocery items about a 15 minute drive from the ranch.
Pre-Stocking Service
Take advantage of our optional Pre-Stocking Service and we’ll do the shopping for you. This is especially convenient if you are arriving late in the day. You’ll arrive at the ranch and find the kitchen fully stocked with your choice of food and beverages on day one of your stay.
Dining out
If you’d like to soak up some local flavor, there are a couple of dine-in restaurants a short distance from the ranch that we’d be happy to share with you. Our local mercantile market is also a great stop for hot soups and meals, fresh sandwiches, deli items and other treats before hiking trips.
Private chef
Guests at the ranch may choose to bring a vacation chef or caterer with them for the length of their stay. You may also hire one for a special dinner or celebration. If you are interested in this option, we can provide a list of private chefs for you to contact.
